One thing that is for certain, of those of us who have an accident, it's not who is to blame that gets hammered by the insurance companies, it's those who are easiest to blame. That is, it's down to the words you use on your accident report that determine who will be blamed.
Remember, your insurance company do not want to have to pay out if they can help it, and if they do, you end up paying through the nose for you next insurance renewal.
This is where the car DVR 'Black Box' comes in. It starts recording as soon as you turn on the ignition and doesn't stop again until you turn the ignition off.
How does that help? Well, the typical 'Black Box' will have two cameras in it, one facing front, the other facing rearwards, recording your journey from start to finish. Additionally, the better 'Black Boxes' will record the audio, have GPS tracking built in and has a date/time stamp as well.
The beauty of these is that in the event of an accident, or you get pulled by the Police, you have video evidence that is submittable in a court of law that shows precisely who is in the wrong.
Pulled for not wearing a seatbelt/on your mobile phone. Not me judge, here's the video evidence.
Still think you don't need one of these then watch the video here and try explaining these accidents to your insurance company. You cannot argue with the evidence.
We have a number of different models available as well as those on the website so if you want more info, please ask.
